How your GPA is calculated
Multiply each course's grade points by its credits, add those quality points, then divide by total credits. The sample courses give (4 × 3 + 3 × 3 + 3.7 × 4) ÷ 10 = 3.58. This tool does not add honors or AP bonuses or include earlier semesters. Institutional scales, repeats, pass/fail courses, and rounding can differ; use your school's official rules for a reported GPA.
